Concreto Malbec is made with Malbec grapes sourced from the Paraje Altamira, San Carlos or Finca Piedra Infinita vineyards, characterized by rocky and predominantly calcareous soils. After fermentation in cement vats, the wine rest in cement tanks, as its name suggests (Concreto meaning concrete).
The wine shows a deep color with dark ruby tones. Its aromatic profile is intense and complex with fragrant aromas of black fruits (especially blackberry and currant), aromatic herbs and flowers; On the palate it has a medium body and a smooth, velvety texture.
It is full of character and shows a tasty fruit concentration and a good mineral vein. The tannins are firm and the acidity well balanced. The finish is long and slightly savory. It pairs well with meat, especially beef.
