Cellar for up to 15 years. It is recommended to decant it for an hour. The wine business dates back to the 1940s when Luciano's grandfather, Gabriele, started the business in the Canal area of Marano Valpolicella. In 1969, his son Battista developed the company by gradually merging part of the land of the estate of the ancient Villa Banda Amistà. Luciano continued in his father's footsteps influencing the future of the company with his personal vision. In fact, in 2000 the cellar was completely modernized, and the company made a huge leap of innovation compared to the previous structure and started producing wine with its own label. Luciano Arduini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is one of the most prestigious Amarone wines, and shows the full potential of the indigenous Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara vines. In the glass, it has a dense purple color with dark reflections. The opulent bouquet offers a range of delicate aromas typical of the Amarone: ripe berries, notes of nutmeg, cloves, cedar wood, balsamic, a hint of cigar box, pepper, and dark chocolate. The mouth is also impressive and powerful: a robust and complex structure, indomitable tannins and a concentration worthy of the greatest wines. Its surprising length confirms the exceptional level of this delicious wine and its aging potential. Such a full-bodied and spicy red wine calls for hearty dishes such as beef cheek or mutton stew, or roast wild boar with blackberry sauce, for example.
