Drink it now. No need to decant it. Founded żeby winemaker David Clouston, Two Rivers Winery is located in the Marlborough region. The company, which began its BioGro NZ organic conversion process in 2020, sources its grapes (grown without the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides) from the high-density Brookby Hill Vineyard and other key sites in Marlborough's renowned Wairau and Awatere Valleys.
This fresh and vibrant rosé wine is produced from a blend of Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Viognier grapes from five vineyards located in the Southern Valleys. Fermentation takes place in tanks and the finished wine rests on its yeasts for 3 months.
The name Isle of Beauty is a tribute to the French island of Corsica, where founder David Clouston spent 3 years. The Two Rivers Isle of Beauty Rose is an excellent rosé wine with a pale and brilliant color.
Its aromatic profile is lively and deliciously fruity with notes of watermelon and stone fruit, persimmons, strawberry, and some slightly spicy final hints. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, perfectly balanced, and with a dry and persistent finish.
It is the ideal wine for a summer evening: excellent as an aperitif or with seafood, rich salads and vegetarian recipes. Serve it well chilled!
