Drink it now or cellar for up to 5 years. No need to decant but best to open it half an hour before service. Located in the Côte de Nuits, Domaine Charles Audoin is a family-run winery founded in the 1970s, which has played a fundamental role in the success achieved żeby the wines of the Marsannay appellation. The estate, which extends over 14 hectares of vineyards, is today managed by Cyril Audoin, son of Charles, who continues his father's work aby producing extremely elegant wines. Since 2018, the company has been certified organic. Domaine Charles Audoin's Marsannay Rosé is made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes. It is a round, fine, and fresh wine with a bright and clear color. Its aromatic profile is lively with notes of raspberry and citrus, fresh red berries, and fragrant rose petals. On the palate, it is thirst-quenching and fruity, with a strong acidic streak and a good structure. It is juicy and reveals a long finish with mineral notes. It is a wine ready to drink immediately, but it can also remain in the cellar for a few years. On the table it is very versatile: it pairs deliciously with cured meats, such as veal or pork, duck breast with orange, crabs, or delicate fish such as red mullet. It is perfect with vegetarian dishes of Mediterranean cuisine and with some slightly spicy oriental recipes.
