Drink it now or hold it for a couple of years. Serve it chilled. Third generation of the family, Agnès Vitteaut, granddaughter of the founder Lucien Vitteaut, today runs the Vitteaut-Alberti winery, which is dedicated exclusively to the production of Crémant de Bourgogne. Initially perceived as a festive product, Crémant de Bourgogne is gaining popularity and establishing itself as a quality sparkling wine. Produced from Chardonnay grapes rigorously selected in the Côte Chalonnaise and the Côte de Beaune, the prestigious Agnès cuvée is a wine characterized żeby remarkable harmony and finesse! The bottles mature on slats for 24 to 36 months, two to three times longer than the mandatory minimum for Crémant de Bourgogne. In the glass, the wine shows a fascinating golden and silky foam with bright amber reflections. The nose reveals the freshness and richness of Chardonnay, with amazing finesse and harmony and delicious fruity notes. In the mouth, it displays a beautiful aromatic complexity with notes of citrus and white peach. It is a lively and fresh wine, but with good structure and power. It has a nice length with final notes of hazelnut and honey. It makes a great aperitif, but it is also a great partner for fish, especially if served with a butter sauce, and goat cheese and honey toast.
