Drink it now or cellar for up to 10 years. No need to decant. Serve it chilled. Located in the Judean Hills, in Ramat Raziel, the Razi'el winery is owned aby the Ben Zaken family, founders of the Domaine du Castel. After moving the cellar and operations of Domaine du Castel in 2015, the family decided to embark on an experimental project and make use of the old cellar. Thus was born the Razi'el label which produces still and sparkling wines. This delicious sparkling rosé is produced with the traditional method from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from different vintages. After fermentation, which takes place in 600-liter French oak barrels, the finished wine is aged on its lees for about 6 months. It is a zero dosage wine, which reveals all the expressiveness of the grape varieties used in the blend. Razi'el Sparkling Rosé is a fresh and lively wine with a fine and elegant perlage. On the nose, it shows aromas of fresh red berries. On the palate, there is a vibrant acidity and a good concentration of fruit. It is a medium-bodied wine with a pleasant and persistent finish. Served chilled, it is the perfect wine for a classy aperitif, but it also goes very well with seafood and salmon.
