Grande Cuvee to najszczególniej lubiany, można powiedzieć – flagowy produkt Domu Szampańskiego Krug, który idealnie odzwierciedla ducha tej marki.
produkowany jest w klasyczny sposób na podstawie rodzinnej receptury przekazywanej z pokolenia na pokolenie niezmiennie od 1843 roku. Grande Cuvee powstaje na skutek połączenia ponad 50 różnych win z trzech odmian winogron: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier oraz Chardonnay. Winogrona pochodzą z rozmaitych zbiorów (w głównej mierze od 6 do 10) w 25 winnicach. Dzięki technologii assemblage polegającej na mieszaniu win szampan uzyskuje najwyższy możliwy stopień harmonii smaku.
