This is a classic Pinot Noir, harvested from the vicinity of the village, bursting with aromas of cranberry, strawberry, woodland floor, subtle dried herbs, and rich spice. Domaine du Clos Frantin is a picturesque 18th-century estate in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, where Vosne-Romanee can be found, belonging to Albert Bichot.

He has been in charge of his ancient family estate since 1996, vastly expanding the portfolio of vineyards, joining new international markets, and modernising cellar facilities across all six of the family-owned Burgundy estates.

On the palate of this supple yet powerful red, you can discover strong notes of ripe red fruit, with an undercurrent of spice. It has a medium- to full-bodied texture, with crisp, grippy tannins and vibrant acidity.
